Lack of affordable youth housing in South London

Young people aged 18-25 in South London are being priced out of rental markets with average rents exceeding £1,500 per month. This is leading to overcrowding, homelessness, and people being forced to leave the communities they grew up in. Existing social housing waiting lists are over 5 years long with no short term solution in sight.
